At Hank's Surplus, we strive to process and ship every order as quickly as possible. Please read the following shipping policy before placing your order.
Order Processing
Most in-stock orders are processed within 1–3 business days after payment has been received.
Custom-made, made-to-order, or manufactured products may require additional processing time. Estimated production times are shown on the individual product pages when applicable.
Orders are processed Monday through Friday, excluding weekends and federal holidays.
Shipping Methods
We ship orders using trusted carriers, including:

Shipping options and estimated delivery times are displayed during checkout.
Delivery estimates are provided by the shipping carrier and are not guaranteed.
Shipping Rates
Shipping charges are calculated during checkout based on:

Occasionally, oversized or unusually heavy items may require additional shipping charges. If this occurs, we will contact you before shipping your order.
Free Shipping
Products that qualify for Free Shipping will be clearly identified on the product page or during checkout.
Free Shipping applies only to qualifying orders shipped within the contiguous United States unless otherwise stated.
We reserve the right to choose the shipping carrier and service for all Free Shipping orders.
Tracking Information
Once your order ships, you will receive a shipping confirmation email containing your tracking number.
Please allow up to 24 hours for tracking information to become available after receiving your shipping confirmation.
Delivery Delays
Once a shipment has been transferred to the shipping carrier, delivery is outside our control.
Hank's Surplus is not responsible for delays caused by:

Natural disasters

Customs inspections

High shipping volume

Labor disruptions

Incorrect shipping information provided by the customer
Incorrect Shipping Address
Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address.
If an order is returned due to an incorrect or undeliverable address, the customer is responsible for any additional shipping charges required to resend the package.
If the package cannot be recovered, the order may not be eligible for a refund.
Lost or Stolen Packages
Once a package has been marked as delivered by the shipping carrier, Hank's Surplus is not responsible for lost or stolen packages.
If your package is missing, we recommend:

Filing a claim with the carrier if applicable
We will gladly assist customers by providing shipment information when possible.
Damaged Shipments
Please inspect your package immediately upon delivery.
If your shipment arrives damaged:

Take photographs of the packaging and damaged product.

Retain all original packaging materials.

Contact us within 5 business days of delivery.
We may request additional information to assist with a carrier claim or replacement.
International Shipping
We ship to many international destinations where permitted by law.
International customers are responsible for:

Taxes imposed by their country
These charges are not included in our product prices or shipping rates.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that products may legally be imported into their country.
Orders refused by customs or returned due to import restrictions may not be eligible for a refund of shipping charges.
Military Surplus and Restricted Items
Certain products may be subject to shipping restrictions based on federal, state, local, or international regulations.
Hank's Surplus reserves the right to cancel any order that cannot legally be shipped to the destination provided.
Split Shipments
Orders containing multiple items may ship separately depending on inventory availability or warehouse location.
Customers will not be charged additional shipping costs for authorized split shipments unless otherwise communicated before shipment.
